ADMISSION Eligibility:

  • Fresher General Candidates with minimum 50% marks in UG or PG level can apply.
  • Fresher SC/ST Candidates with minimum 45% marks in UG or PG level can apply.
  • Fresher General Candidates within 35 years and SC/ ST within 40 years can apply.
  • Deputed candidate having 2 years of experience in Govt., Govt.- Aided, Govt. Sponsored School can apply.
  • For Deputed Candidates Joining Date before 30/03/2010 have no Marks bar.
  • For Deputed Candidates having Joining Date after 30/03/2010 have Marks bar as Fresher candidate.
  • Deputed Candidates have no Age limit.
  • Deputed candidates must produce original MC/GB Permission, Approval , NOC at the time of Counseling.

Regulations for 2 Years B.Ed. Course in West Bengal Following NCTE Regulations, 2014.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the Government of West Bengal (Memo No. 329-Edn(CS)/EE/10M-16/15 dated 6th April, 2015), the Curriculum Committee hereby makes the following Regulations:

These regulations shall be called the Regulations ( for the B.Ed Programme), with effect from 2015. They shall apply to every candidate applying for admission, registration, conduct and conferment of the B.Ed degree within the jurisdiction of this State i.e., West Bengal.

Admissions, registrations and conferment of B.Ed Degree shall be guided by these regulations:

Course Structure:
The duration of this program is two academic years consisting of four semesters. The academic year shall commence from July 1st of every year. Each semester is roughly of 6 months duration including a regular classes, assignments, practice teaching and examinations. The programme structure is as follows:
