SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is the most significant cleanliness campaign by the Government of India. The Prime Minister of India launched the ambitious ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ (Clean India Mission), the Abhiyan was launched on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s 145^th Birth Anniversary, 2^nd October, 2014. The Main objective of this ‘Abhiyan’ is to fulfill the sanitation facilities to all as well as eliminate all unhealthy practices of peoples. It is very important to solve the problems of sanitation, toilets and waste management. Realising the importance of cleanliness, students of Shree Ramakrishna B.T. College, Darjeeling observed Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and take the initiative of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ in the College premises and also surrounding locality.
